Plot
Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman because of her green skin, and Glinda, a popular girl, become friends at Shiz University in the Land of Oz. After an encounter with the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads.. The name of the Wicked Witch, Elphaba, was created by taking the phonetic pronunciation of the original "Wizard of Oz" author L.

Can we talk about how BLOWN AWAY I was by both Ariana and Cynthia's performances, and honestly the entire cast!Ariana wasn't kidding when she said she put her entire heart and soul into preparing for the role of Glinda. This is a dream come true for her, and I couldn't think of anyone else for this role.Cynthia's belting was out of this world. including the stunts.I will be watching a million times in theaters (and hopefully soon on digital) in anticipation for Part 2!
