Plot
1917. Fleeing famine and war in Poland, Rebeca arrives in Brazil to reunite with her husband and start a new life. However, contrary to the promises of happiness, the reality he encounters in Rio de Janeiro is completely different. She discovers that her husband has passed away and ends up being held hostage in a large prostitution and human trafficking ring.
