Plot
Three strangers, living in the same apartment building in New York City and sharing an obsession with true crime, suddenly find themselves involved in a murder. In fact, he is a very talented and accomplished musician. The viewer learned in the first episode that CHS lived above Oliver, who lived above Mabel, with that elevator scene.

BUT the first episode has CHS in an apartment on the seventh floor, Oliver on the eighth, Mabel on the ninth, in reverse order and well below CHS’s actual floor in the series. I was actually surprised by how much I liked Only Murders in the Building. There’s a reason both seasons were nominated and won so many awards.
All three are very likable and it is easy to root for them in this series
The cast (Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, Martin Short) and the writing are what make this show so special. Martin and Short complement each other like legends and Gomez is a much better actress than I expected. This series was so good and each episode is so entertaining that I watched both seasons in one weekend.
I can’t wait!
This is a murder mystery series with lots of twists and turns and laughs. I am waiting for season 3 to come out soon. Season 3 should be the best one yet with Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep added to the cast.
