I know a lot of people won’t be happy with this adaptation, but ultimately it’s a great novel, we all know it just can’t be made into a movie and as you all know the author didn’t agree to adapt the novel before, and now his children have agreed to adapt it, so the result in my opinion is that Netflix managed to adapt it quite well, maybe not perfectly, but they came very close to it, I think they did a remarkable job in recreating the spirit of the novel + the actors are very good and the locations and the whole production were actually satisfactory.
Overall, I recommend people give it a try and don’t be fooled by the reviews and the name Netflix
