Following the events of Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka Penguin, attempts to take over Gotham’s criminal underworld
With the exception of the Bat-Signal in the final shot of the season finale, we never got a glimpse of Robert Pattinson’s role in “Penguin.” In this short film, IMDb tries to answer: Where the hell was Batman?. Colin Farrell fought hard to get his version of Penguin to smoke tobacco in Batman (2022), but to no avail. However, in his own series, the character is portrayed as an occasional tobacco user who prefers cigars.

I’ve never seen Farrell so invested in a character
So the first episode is done and it was excellent. I mean yes he is wearing a fat suit but you would never know it. His posture, body language and voice make you immerse yourself in the character and see only Penguin.
He is a New York gangster, a smart guy
He has no relation to any other penguin on live television, Burgess Meredith or Robin Lord Taylor. He is Scorsese’s gangster but without the flowery language. The plot is simple, similar to Lord Taylors Penguin in CW’s Gotham.
Very funny and highly recommended
Penguin is a middleman for a mafia organization. Up until now he has done his best, slowly rising through the ranks, and then, faced with the fallout of Riddler blowing up the city’s sea wall and the death of his boss in this film, he sees an opportunity to move up in the world. Now begins the game of cross, double cross and, I think, triple cross.
