-afters with this year’s lineup of romantic holiday-themed movies to watch from the comfort of your own home
Alana Higman, a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing to win the team’s Fan of the Year contest, judged by Director of Fan Engagement Derrick.
Filmed on location in the historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like that all year round
The locations that served as the Higman family store and Norma and Nick’s steakhouse are also real-life family-owned stores.
I thought it was a cute movie
The square also has a Christmas light display just like the one in the movie.
It’s definitely a standout movie, with the over-the-top family always trying to get in the way
It’s sports-themed, and I loved the little Easter eggs (Donna Kelce, Andy Reid, and older retired players) that popped up in the movie.
I highly recommend watching the movie, especially if you are a woman who likes sports and romance
This movie was a nice departure from the usual ‘powerful female executive comes to a small town to fix something and falls in love with a small-town guy.’ Overall, although it was a typical brand and still a cute Christmas themed movie, although that wasn’t as big a theme as football.
